Moringa is considered “superfood” due to the high vitamins A and C, calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium and potassium. It contains phytochemicals and antioxidants that have been shown in some research studies to reduce chronic inflammation. It can be used as an ingredient in food, such as added to soups, curries, rice reasoning and stew as well as tea.
